Saab 9-3 Brakes [saabnet.com]

thanks to everyone that responded. I searched www.saabnet.com and found
were I went wrong.

The metal spring, the wire that clips over the front calipers will fit two
ways. You can install is correctly and incorrectly. When installed
incorrectly, the spring pushes the cylinders back into the calipers. I
found this mistake be reading the www.saabnet.com tech section. This
morning, I correct the mistake and now I have GREAT brakes.

I usually only disassemble one brake at a time. That way, I can see one
correct example to help assemble the other. But, I always check my work
before I release the car.

Thanks for all the help. I cleaned the car and returned it to my wife.
