Trans fluid and coolant change intervals? [saabnet.com]
Posted by W. Drew - http://saabnet.com/tsn/forms/e.php3?em=1 (more from W. Drew - http://saabnet.com/tsn/forms/e.php3?em=1) on Tue, 28 Dec 2004 21:17:42
I can't seem to find the mileage or timeframes for changing the Transmission fluid or coolant. The car is a 2002 SAAB 9-3 SE HOT with Automatic trans. and 35,000 miles. I live in AZ and follow the 'Severe' maintenence schedule for oil changes (Mobil 1 ever 5K)
As such I want to make sure I'm taking care of the tranny and cooling system as well. The owners manual shows that these fliuds are 'checked' at each service interval, but I can not find where they are actually changed.
What's the norm or recommendation for this car? Thanks in advance -- and happy holidays to all W.
