They are very thin, but defintatelynoticeable when the car is clean.A year and a half ago I had some major work done on the front endafter a rather serious accident. The body shop filled in a dentabout the size of a nickel on the hood right about where the cracks arenow appearring. They repainted/finished the hood and all has beenwell until now. I brought the car back to the body shop [they guaranteetheir work for life, the life of their shop, I assume] and the guysaid he'd look up my file and for me to come back early this week.He said he doubted if they'd fix it because 'This is a problem we see in a lot of Saabs' I told him I thought it might have to do with the work that wasdone a year and a half ago...but he seems to think that it happens ina lot of Saabs and that it was probably beginning before I brought thecar to them.Has anyone else seen this problem in their Saabs? mine has lived happilythrough upstate NY winters all its life, hot sunny summers and with itsblack paint baking in the sunlight. Is this guy trying to get out offixing my car? or does this happen often? can I scam a free paintjob out of these guys anyways?thanks-elleECHAN%HAMPVMS.BITNETno39sdcx6spamx782CUNYVM.CUNY.EDU Posts in this Thread:
