Alternator Mount

My '79 900T makes an ugly buzzing noise at about 2000 rpm which I'veisolated to the alternator mount. The rubber bushings at the mount'spivot have deteriorated to the point that they're sloppy and metal tometal contact occurs. A couple of the local Saab specialists can sellme a new bracket but 'the bushings go pretty quickly, you'll have thesame problem again before long'.Any suggestions for a more permanent fix? A source for improvedbushings perhaps?thanks much,peter
