I don't have a Saab yet, but I can answer this one. I have a 2000 9-5 wagon
on order via carorder.com I am getting the car for just about invoice, which
is about $880 better than the dealer could do. Here's the deal:

You build a car and put it in your 'virtual garage'. You get a bottom line
price at a click of a mouse. This is just what you will pay for the car. You
have 7 days to decide to purchase. The car comes from an associated
dealer and is delivered to your home or office. Sometimes the prices are so-
so, or even high. If you wait the price may change, up or down. I let my
price expire and tried again and saved more than $1000.

You can generally get the car you want, but you have to wait. When you
place an order the spend 2 weeks looking for a car that matches your
specifications. If they don't find it they order it. My car is a special order
and I am still waiting for Saab to build it since 2/12.

Pros:

They are real and you can save some bucks.
You get the car you want.
You don't have to ever talk with a sales person!

Cons:
The process can take time.
You have to stay on top of things and follow up.

Like the old contractor's saying 'You can have it Quick, Good and Cheap.
Pick two.'

With CarOrder.com you get Good and Cheap. You usually have to be
patient. If you are open to options (I wasen't) you can speed the process
up. As far as I can tell they add and subtract the invoice price of options if
the car is different than the one in your virtual garage.

As far as I can tell CarOrder willfully looses money on some deals.
Perhaps this is to boost their dot.com volume. It is OK with me as long as
they loose money on me.

I strongly suggest going to Edmunds.com and searching on CarOrder.com
and looking at the CarOrder Experiences topic. Good stuff. Some people
don't like the service, but there are many happy car owners and no one has
been screwed out of money.

Drive Safe,

Joe
