91 9K Starting Problem
Posted by Ron Conrad (more from Ron Conrad) on Thu, 3 Aug 2000 13:20:01
Anyone know the steps to R&R the Neutral Safety Switch in a 91 9000CD with auto tranny?
I have been having a starting problem for the past several weeks and I believe I have narrowed it down to this switch. I have found that it makes no difference if the engine is hot or cold. When it will not start I have to move the shifter from P to 1 and back several times before it starts. I have sat for more than an hour before it will fire. Getting old.
Have the POS Haynes manual which shows zip.
One more question. Are there any fuseable links in this said car that might be related to this problem?
TIA
Ron
