I use Castrol Syntec or Mobil 1, changed every 10k with a new Fram or Saab
filter. None of my Saabs (172k, 157k, 143k, 127k) use a quart between
changes.
For antifreeze, the best stuff is from Mercedes. It's yellow, comes in a
plain white jug and costs about $12/gal. You should change the thermostat
(Saab only , 82C), as well, and check the hoses. Someone may want to
comment on changing brake and steering rack fluid while you're at it.
