Rim confoguration on mid-80s 900s
Posted by John Chacona (more from John Chacona) on Wed, 7 Feb 2001 09:17:16
Fellow Snaabs --

Well it's finally happened. After 15 years of driving on potholed PA
highways, I whanged a curb for the last time and put a permanent dent in
the front rim of my 86 900 (149k, 'Helga').

A while ago, I unthinkingly purchased rims from a friens who junked his 91
9000S, only to learn that, due to a change on the bolt pattern and hub
size, they would not fit on my 900.

Now I face the ordeal of looking for old rims in my generally Snaab-free
area. My question: what years and which models have rims that I can use?

Help me. It's snowing and I'm riding on the cookie!

Grrrrrrr,

JC
