Rough starting
Posted by Dan Aldrich (more from Dan Aldrich) on Sun, 11 Feb 2001 13:50:55
OK, so a few weeks ago my '92 900 wouldn't start in the driveway and I had it towed to the local shop. After a new head it ran rough until it warmed up. Back to the shop this time for a new timing chain. Still ran rough. A few days latter, it wouldn't start before many minutes of cranking, but extremely rough. Back to the shop a third time. This time a new fuel pump.
So, after a new head, timing chain and fuel pump, I'm still not convinced the original problem has been solved and I now have a new problem of the car running rough in cold weather until it warms up. Thoughts?
Thanks, -d
