Thank you, Marshall. It appears that my Saab (Louie) is the 'knob at the
base of the passenger seat' kind but the knob has broken off from the
rod/spring latch assembly under the rear seat! So we are trying to
figure out how to get in a set of pliers to pull at the other
end...sigh...an ongoing project for awhile I am afraid. Thanks again to
you and the others for all your input!
