hunt at idle
Posted by Sid Jacobson (more from Sid Jacobson) on Wed, 14 Jul 1999 10:01:13
Problem.
1990 900T convertible, auto trans 205,000 miles. Runs like the day it left the factory, excellent maint. Recently, at idle, the engine hunts up and down by several hundred rpm when in gear at stop. When placed in neutral the pulsation stops and idles smoothly at 900 rpm. Recently replaces the distributor cap, rotor and airfilter. No 'check engine' indicator lightups.
Solutions/ suggestions?
Thanks
