Help! locked out of my trunk

My 89 9000CD turbo's trunk latch won't work or it's locked and I can't
unlock it.  It makes a sound when the driver's door key is
locked/unlocked like the lock is working, and the key in the lock sounds
like things are moving, but won't open.  Any suggestions much
appreciated.
