This year, the Saab Club of North America, your hosts for the SOC02, are
planning something a little different. Stealing a page from our European
counterparts, the registration nubmers for the SOC02 will not be assigned to
people but rather to the Saabs in attendance. Each car staying on the
grounds will be required to display a numbered plastic rally tag either in
the front window or zip-tied to the front bumper, for identification
purposes in the concours, photo shoots, autocross or just matching up cars
to owners! These numbers are being assigned in no particular order as
online and mail-in regiatrations come in, but a few very special numbers
dear to the hearts of Saab fans are being made available here.
That's right, only on eBay will you find SOC02 registration numbers 1, 9,
92, 93, 95, 96, 97, 99 and 900. These registrations will have a starting
bid of $110 - $15 off the normal adult admission price to the SOC02. If you
are the only bidder on a particular number, congrats! You just saved $15!
However, each and every dollar collected above the starting bid will be
donated to the this year's charity, the Humane Society, so big often and bid
high!
If you are the high bidder, you will win one adult admission to the SOC02,
good for four days of activities and meals, just like one bought at full
price at www.saabconvention.org. We won't be mailing anything out in
advance, since registration packets are handed out on Thursday at the show,
sot here will be no shipping or handling charges. We prefer PayPal
payments, but special arrangements can be made on a per-buyer basis, just
drop us a line at infono39sdcx6spamx782saabclub.com and we'll make it happen.
