I find this sad. The hatchback has been one of the distinguising
things of Saabs. If Saabs follow the marketplace totally, their
products may be too much like their competitors, leaving room for
buyers to flee suddenly.
And if their sales keep growing amid a market of sagging sales, what
makes them think they need a change such as this?
People who haven't had a hatchback don't see the point. People who
have, do.
