I have an 85 and don't recall any rubber bushings. There is however a
long 'strut' that goes form the top of the alternator to the lower
oportion of the block. If the bolt here gets loose you will have
'looseness' be careful when tightning the bolt in the block it shears
easier than you might think, don't ask how I know this. However once this
bolt (or its replacement) was tight my alternator firmed right up
