I am troubleshooting a rather perplexing 'no start' with my 1996 9000CS A/T.
The car cranks fine, but there is no spark and the fuel pump relay isn't
closing.
I have worked on Saabs for years, and own 3 at the moment so I have lots of
spare parts to work with.
I have tried the engine computer, digital ignition cassette, ignition switch
and the fuel pump relay. I am beginning to suspect a transmission lockout
switch, or perhaps the alarm system but I would think that problems with
either of those would prevent the car from cranking, which it does fine.
I have the trionic wiring diagram, but it's a bit arcane and doesn't
describe the trionic connector pins. If anyone has a pinout for the trionic
box, or any other useful pointers please pass them along.
