Odometer/speedometer/Roof [saabnow]

I have a 89 900 turbo convertible. The odometer doesn't work. The
speedometer does work. And finally the roof doesn't work - via the button -
it still works manually though.
The Odometer broke about 6 months ago and then about three months after that
the speedometer would bounce from zero to fifty - no matter what the actual
speed and then finally stopped altogether.
The roof button used to click and I hear the motor, but the top never
started to move. I bled the air out of the lines so I could lower and raise
manually.
I am contemplating trying to fix this myself - I don't drive the car too
often so if it sits apart - not a big deal.
Are these nightmares that I should not even bother to fix myself or is this
a good weekend project?
