Check the main harnees. I had an '84 900T with an intermittant fuel pump
electrical feed; when I made right turns the car would die. I traced the
problem to the overtightened harness carrying the fuel pump wiring. The thin
fuel pump wire must have been twisted  and consequently stretched around the
body of the harness. I estimated (correctly) where the intermittant was and
I externally bridged the affected portion of wire by splicing a separate
lead accross the intermittant. Problem solved.
