9000 door handle [saabnet.com]

Subject: 9000 door handle
=================
My 1989 9000 CDT driver's door is getting very hard to open from the outside,
it's pretty much a two handed job now. It moves ok, but the actual release
point requires a really hard tug or three. My wife is getting the point where
she is going to give up and slide in from the passenger side.

If I need a new handle do I get to keep my lock? Or do I have to change the
whole thing? Or is their a fix?

Thanks

Nick
