Clock/Display Unit on '94 900S
Posted by Robert_Clarke (more from Robert_Clarke) on Wed, 4 Aug 1999 09:40:03
After two years of intermittent flickering on the display on my '94 900S, I took the unit out to see if the contacts were loose. They did not seem to be, but when I reinstalled the unit, even less of the pixels lit up. I took it apart again, sprayed on and brushed on electrical contact cleaner, and reinstalled, with no better result.
Does anyone know how to test and/or fix this type of problem? If not, is there any less expensive alternative than getting a replacement from the Saab dealer?
