I'll second that. .
Here in New Hampshire the winters get pretty ugly. For the snow I drive on
Goodyear Ultra Grips with studs all the way around on my 85 900. Friend of mine
drive Hakapalita (sp?) 10's during the winter with great success. For the
record, In the nice weather and the rain I drive Mich MX4's ~ the noise
reduction alone is worth the change.
