consider changing the ignition cassette, assuming it has that big red 300 dollar
piece like my '91 cd has...i just changed mine at 90k (app. 150kkm). my
symptoms were the same...poor idle, variable performance during accelaration,
&ct. every now and again i would simply have a cylinder not firing...car did
not like that. neither did driver. if the thing is hitting right i don't think
a scope would spot it either. that was the problem with the problem; it was
intermittent and you just had to 'catch it at the right time.' just .02 worth.
i love the car otherwise; just ate a mustang gt for lunch the other day <g>.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a Cirrus White 2000 9-5 SE wagon.
(I know there are great rebates on the 1999 model, but we want the =
2000.)
I've seen a couple of places on the net mention of a $1000 'owner =
loyalty'=20
rebate from Saab, with no details. I can't find anything on the Saab web =
site; and the dealer knows nothing (of course). Can't find anything
on Edmunds either.
Any info or pointers to info on the $1k rebate?
Any pointers to places that sell Saab accessories wholesale?
