Regarding question 3: I'm in my third winter and at least 20k on Hakka 1's.
I'd say they have at least another 10-15k of good winter wear if not more.
I talked a friend into a set of the Q's for her Pontiac after she twice
failed to negotiate the mile long private drive for her new home. She's so
impressed that mere snow and hard pack is no longer a challenge. She's
actually hoping for an ice storm to really test their capabilities. I'd
highly recommend talking to Pat Greer at Greer Enterprises here in
Milwaukee. He'll be glad to sell you the Q's or the 1's and therefore
should be able to give you some unbiased anecdotal information on the
longevity of the Q's. I think they're brand new this year so there may not
be much empirical evidence.
