Replacing the Stereo '96 9000 H/K
Posted by aob (more from aob) on Fri, 25 Feb 2000 00:00:07
I have a '96 9000 Aero with the stock Harman/Kardon stereo, which I'm
going to be replacing. Any tricks, hints, or tips, for removing the
various components? The dash speakers, look simple and the head unit
& cd should pull with the coat hanger trick. I'm more worried about
the speakers in the rear? Does the trunk liner have to come out?

Also, I will be replacing all of the speakers, head unit, cd, and
amp. Anyone have any idea what the system is worth? (Anyone
interested?) The only problem with it as far as I can tell is one
rear speaker. I don't know wether its blown, or something is on top
of it causing low frequency distortion.
