I was doing the interstate crawl and when the traffic opened up I moved the selector over into "M" mode and the car automatically put it into M4 based on the previous gear in Auto mode. This was running at about 1500 RPMS and I definitely felt a vibration coming through the entire car. You'd think that a) they could reprogram the sentronic to downshift in situations such as this and that b) in "D" it would never do this as it could, if I understand how such things work, unlock the torque converter. I've only experienced this behavior once in manual mode. Downshifting to M3 was an immediate solution anyway, and if I had a manual I'd _never_ run 4th gear at 1500 RPMs.
