Mine is a 2004 Linear at a little over 15k. I love the handling and usable power, plus a ridiculous amount of utility/versatility etc. for a sedan.
Two techincal problems so far:
1) info display (the non-critical stuff) stopped working during the day -- fixed with a quick recalibration, under warranty
2) told me it had a "gearbox malfunction" -- apparently a (relatively) common computer glitch in the '03-'04s. This was right before the 15k scheduled maintenance, so they upgraded the software during the 15k maint.

It does rattle a bit (so much for the "no rattles in Linears" theory). Enough to bother me some, but I'm pretty sensitive. I haven't tried asking the dealer to look into it. I'd love to hear more about what you end up doing about yours, John.
