well,...
I'm at just under 16K miles on my Linear, leased in January. Steel Gray, Gray leather, stick, Launch/Sport Chassis/Touring/Htd Seats- Headlamp washers/etc. No options left out.
First off, I have never gotten more compliments or stares with any other car - and I owned a New Beetle when they first came out. It is an absolutely gorgeous car.
Second, the cars performance is a blast. I had the Sevice Advisors Arc for a loaner (so it was well broken in). As it was laoded, it was nearly the same as a Vector except for some trim. I was underwhelmed; I like the response of the Linears LPT better, and preferred the 5 speed sticks actions to the 6. Since the advisor and I have known each other for 6 years, I told her my thoughts. She stated she should have bought one of the two Linears equipped like mine back in the winter.
Third, I have a close friend with an Audi A4 3.0 quattro 6 speed, who prefers my car to his own (we both bought, unknowingly, the same weekend. He had always dismissed Saabs, until mine).
As far as utility, I can fit, with room, a 12" DeWalt compound mitre saw, an 18V Ryobi 4 pc cordless kit, and a 12V DeWalt hammer drill kit. The trunk is huge, well shaped, and has good access.
I think I will go wash her, now.
