I think you have to have the Premium package in the 2.0T models, or the Touring package in the Aero models. IIRC, there's a special module or doohickey like that in the window mechanism that is required to make it work that is not present in 9-3s w/o those packages. if it were a simple task of activating via Tech2, then I would think everyone would like to have that option activated.
I only wish we (those w/Premium or Touring packages) had the "comfort close" option as well, like the European models (again, blame lawyers for that).
Personally, I'd like a remote starter ala the 9-3s structural cousin, the Chevy Malibu.
