I agree, and I wish it were that simple. I picked up the car in April 08, and it spent a combined 2+ months back at the dealer in the first 8 months. The dealer tried replacing the radio and various fiber optic cables several times under warranty. Unfortunately, there has been no improvement.

Now I'm "discussing it" with the regional SAAB rep because when they pulled another 08 9-3 Aero off the lot, it had the same terrible sound issues (static & cutting in/out). Thus, he now claims that my car is to "manufacturer specs," and they won't do anything more under warranty.

I'm hoping that someone else on Saabnet might have experienced similar problems with the Bose system & have some suggestions or insight.
