I am entitled to my opinion... I purchased two of these cars from new so I'm going to give my $0.02 like it or not. I did say don't pay more than 10 grand, otherwise, walk away. I'd still drive one as a winter beater and put up with the rattles, suspension crunching, flaking logos, and stuck windows and all the other nonsense if someone was holding a gun to my head. Hands down, these cars have to have some of the worst dealer support going. I'm sure there are some dealers that still care, guess I couldn't find any in my 10 years of ownership. I've never had a new car that had to go back and forth to the dealer for so many "adjustments" when new. These cars are simply just a pain in the ass. If someone is looking for an ownership experience that is free from nagging problems and unnecessary dealer visits than that person should just walk away 'cause they aren't going to get it with GM's SAAB. And yes, after giving this brand a chance for 10 years and two new cars, I'm back where I started, driving a German car. Everything about the driving and owning experience is better because they make better cars. So, to talk about what the original post asked, sure buy one if you can get it cheap, be prepared for dealer visits that go nowhere and random faults that will leave you on the side of the road. I admit there was something I liked about the brand and cars to buy two of them but never again, never ever new again and never ever ever one that GM had it's hand in building. They just aren't worth the money or hassle and there are plenty of other better cars in the same price range that are a better long term means of transportation and enjoyment. So go ahead lemmings, follow your GM SAAB into the shitter pull up my IP address, bitch about the one post wonder and trollling all you want... you must be jealous.
