So far I have been able to use the older TIS 2000 with the first generation hardware dongle but it is slowly coming to an end now when they have gone over to Tis2web.

I got the 141.000 version from a friend that have a sub going but one thing I noticed was that it didn't give me security clearance for a CIM job on a 2005 recently using my hardware dongle so I had to reload an older version to another card I had with GM info on.

I suspect that they are slowly facing out the dongles in favor of the website which gives you security clearance automatically as part of the subscription.

It's $750.00 a year for Saab only for the TIS option and then another $500.00 for WIS but that online WIS is kind of clunky and ones again a new layout that you need to learn compared to the older WIS loaded on your PC.

It's also a mess since the online WIS use Isoview for picture viewing and handling and it clashes with my Volvo VIDA program that use the same company but a newer version of Isoview.

It was kind of fun when the first generation Volvo VIDA programs came out and during the opening sequence of the program, the Isoview box popped up saying the program was licensed to Saab Automobile. It didn't take long before a newer version of VIDA came out and now it says it is licensed to Volvo Car Corporation, he, he.
