I think my pallet has been ruined by driving American cars most of my life. I spent some time thrashing the car down some of the country roads we have around here and really paid attention to what I was really feeling. I think you guys are right. A vibration brought about by imbalance would give the wheel a side to side shimmy. That isn't what I am feeling. I am guessing it is the "road feel" that everyone talks about. I am OK with that if that was how it was designed. Perhaps even learn to appreciate it. Thanks for chiming in and saving me the cost and trouble of taking it to the dealer. BTW I went through two sets of the P6's in the first 20k miles. They would get lumpy after about 10k. Replaced them with Michelin Pilot MXM4's. Really nice tires, I have come to trust Michelin's as I have used them on many cars and they have always been defect free.
Thanks.
