This is extremely common on the Turbo-X and in higher mileage or tuned 9-3 Aero's with the V6.
The most recent word is the coils can't cope with the very high cylinder pressure and with very high underhood temperatures, and they fail prematurely.
There is a lengthy post or three documenting several people's experience with this in the 9-3SS Performance board on SC, lots of Turbo-X and Aero owners chiming in.
I have done several sets of plugs and 3 or 4 individual coils to chase down misfire issues on the V6. Had a customer in just this morning with a MapTun tuned '06 Aero and he bought a full set of new coils for me to install to get rid of a misfire under wide open throttle.
For the most part the dealer service departments I have talked to and read about should know how to diagnose the bad coils and people are generally having good luck getting them replaced under warranty.
Best,
Drew
