When I had that problem with a 9-5, all the hammering in the world didn't help (especially since I was on my back, not standing up under a lift).
I got the biggest bolt that was a slip fit through the caliper mounting holes (which are threaded) and a matching nut. (or you could get bolt with the same thread as the caliper mounting bolt only longer). slip it through the hole, slip the nut between the caliper mount and the rotor, and run the bolt down. Voila, an instant screw press machine. To be sure, I also sprayed with penetrating oil, and turned the hub by 180 degrees after each smidgen of motion until it was loose. Then sand off all the corrosion and smear with anti=seize so it will just slip off next time ... like the WIS says.
Might be worth doing to a new car as soon as you get it, if the caliper mounting screws weren't such a bear...
