Your description fits my 2004 Aero convertible to a tee - it wanders all over the road at slow speeds, and has since almost new. I described it as "tramlining" on this board years ago and never got any responses of possible causes or solution. The front suspension also "clicks" loudly at slow speeds when turning sharply (e.g. in parking garages). I asked the dealer to investigate 2 or 3 times while the car was under warranty, and the response was that it was "typical" and nothing was wrong. The sevice advisor attributed it to the 17" wheels and wide tires (stock by the way). Said I could improve the situation with 16" wheels, but had no interest in doing that.
So now the car is 6-1/2 years old and I am contemplating taking it to a suspension / underbody specialist here in Seattle to see if the problems can be diagnosed and fixed. Am dreading what the cost might be, and am convinced the problem was inherent in the car from the beginning. I still love the car though and am planning to keep it long term.
