Again, the question is what did the car actually cost you? Until recently, getting a discount on a Honda was simply not going to happen. But I got darned near 30% off on my Saab. So compared to MSRP, the resale is attrocious, but compared to actual transaction price it is quite good.
I have to admit, I have usually bought used cars, Saabs amoung them. I had no idea that new Saabs were discounted so heavily until a friend pointed it out and I talked to a couple dealers. Admittedly the last few years have seen much deeper discounts than usual, but still....
The jury is still out as to whether I keep this one for a long time or not. I love the car, but I would like a 3-series wagon while they still make them in RWD with a stickshift. And if Alfa Romeo comes back wild horses would not keep me away!
