I've been looking in to the all wheel drive sytem available on the 9-3.
It seems like you really need to have the electronic limited slip rear differential to get "cross wheel drive" as Saab calls it.
The standard xwd option on the the non aero model seems like it has electro-hydraulic application of power to the rear wheels but it powers a conventional differential - so not really "cross wheel drive unless you get the additional limited slip differntial like the aero model has.
Has anyone else looked into Saab xwd and care to comment?
