It sure seems like you have a problem with people posting here about their issues with their Saab. I think we all know what "owning a car" means in terms of maintenance. FACT IS: I bought a car designed and built in Sweden. You know, a country with snow. Their literature and people's anecdotes about SAABS lead me to believe they are great in cold weather. Much to my surprise, however, the car was delivered to me with washer fluid that freezes at 32 degrees. I didn't think I needed to take time out when I was checking tire pressure and oil level to ensure the freezing point of the washer fluid in my BRAND NEW CAR (that is built for snow and ice according to SAAB) was good for the mild temps in the mid-Atlantic region. I certainly won't make any assumptions about SAABs in the future. I've never had this problem in any of my VWs though. Cars made in much more temperate climates I might add.
