Access to rear seat is by lifting and holding lever on seatback, tilting seatback forward, resulting in seat moving forward. To return it, tilt seatback back to normal position, lift and hold lever, resulting in seat moving back.
On mine, driver's seat does it, passenger doesn't on return cycle. You must lift lever and hold before tilting seatback back. Does not work the same as driver's. After 1st visit to dealer to get it fixed, they adjusted it and it worked for 1 day. This time, they say it isn't supposed to work like the driver's side. Say it is working according to design.
Anyone here have authoritative answer, or similar seat function, or both identical to driver's action?
I think dealer's technician is wacko, or dealer is trying to save warranty expense by coming up with wacko explanation.
No mention of this different functional operation in the owner's manual. Page 75 in mine.
TIA
Regards,
Kerwin
