Hi guys! Been lurking here for awhile :-) I have the exact same problem (9-3ss B207R 2.0T 2004 convertible). Coolant disappears and no sign on the floor/street. Pressurized the coolant expansion tank for 20 mins with no result and totally clear exhaust fumes after that (I was expecting white exhaust smoke if it leaked water into one of the combustion chambers). Pressurized all the cylinders one by one while checking the coolant expansion tank for bubbles (filled to the top) -nothing. Car runs and starts perfect. No signs at all on the plugs. A little bit of extremely small white "dots" but checking my other SS I found the exact same spots. Changed the water pump, no result. Still same issue, coolant disappears and light brown signs of water on the oil dip stick and also looking into the top through the refill hole with cap off, kinda oil sludge-ish. Cap is filled with several small water drops every time I take it off. Today, I changed the heat exchanger mounted on the block. I couldn't see any signs of water inside of it but I guess I should pressurize that one as well to be sure... should show brownish signs I believe... Anyways, I'll know in a few days. The bastard "drinks" 1 litre of coolant / 500km which is a lot. I'm starting to think porous block since HG seems extremely rare and the car shows no typical signs of it. Tech2 found nothing. Made a bunch of monitoring as well while driving, found nothing. Any thoughts?
