The question is not if you can find a (one size don't fit at all) universal fluid or find a fluid that is proven to be the same as the real deal.
Amsoil claims that their synthetic ATF fluid works in just about every transmission built (almost) so their fluid might work here too just like this site claims.
I'm always skeptic to when a fluid manufacturer say that their fluid can be used in all applications but the car manufacturer say to only use this or that fluid.
Just like I'm wondering why Volvo choose to stay with the 3309 when Saab had to come out with something new. What do one manufacturer know that the other one don't?
