Not sure if it's the same 6 speed as was in the 2004.
I had one with the doggy synchros.

One of the many attempts to fix this was to use the VW Synthetic MTF.
This was a Saab factory suggestion.

Didn't fix it, but suggests it's not that critical. I thought this was a Japanese unit that a lot of OEMs use with some customisation.
