May not apply, but I just got a reconditioned auto transmission from Europe for my 06 9-5. They are newly available in the last few months. I am guessing the same would go for a 93SS. Might be even be easier to get a good one. They can be quite expensive though. I got mine for $2000. but the labor, etc. made it $4100.
