Need to replace OEM Pirelli PZero Nero tires on 2008 Turbo-X at 40,000 miles.
I have separate rims with snows. Exact same OEM tires, limited availability, $229/tire, 220 AA A and 27 lbs. Country of origin, Germany. New model Pirelli PZero Nero GT $177/tire 280 AA A and 25 lbs. Country of origin, Italy. Too new for reviews. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 $170/tire 300 AA A and 23 lbs, country of origin, Germany. Better tread wear, lower weight and lower price. All are summer high performance "Y" speed rating (186 mph). Any reputation, performance reason to not buy the Goodyears? Same question Pirellis? BF Goodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 $131/tire 340 AA A 26 lbs. Country of origin US. Ultra high performance, but only a "W" speed rating (168 mph). Go with the second heaviest, but cheapest, made in USA, and not worry about the difference between 168 and 186 mph, since the car is regulated to not even get close? (all Tire Rack)
