Unfortunately Saab changed the part numbers all the time and being they are used you never know if someone cloned them for a different year or really programmed them to a different year at some time. The other problem is that the junk yard interchanged manuals basically say all 2003 to 2006 will all interchange and that 2007 to 2011 will all interchange. That is not the case. I always attempt to get the vin of the donor car so I can check year and engine variant. But getting the correct ionization module should fix the issue. And if the ecm isn't throwing the bad codes I usually just stick with it and get the ionization module. Good Luck, Bernie
