First, you read the data from the old ECU, which is saved to a file.
If you're going to use the method in the second video, then you first read the data from the "Trionic 8" portion of the the ECU, save that to a file, and then read the data from "Trionic 8 MCP Experimental," and save that to a DIFFERENT file.
If you do it right, it will take around 20 minutes to do it, maybe more.
Then you switch ECUs.
Then you Flash ECU, using the data you saved to the disk to Flash the replacement ECU.
Make sure to flash the Trionic 8 file to Trionic 8 Main, and the MCP file to Trionic 8 MCP Experimental. (You select which of these you are flashing from/to where it says "ECU type").
This should take around 20 minutes as well. If it takes only seconds, you didn't do it right.
If you receive error messages in the flash program, you also didn't do it right, and it might be helpful to share those error messages.
