Hey Chris,

I have an '03 Arc and was debating the Arc vs Vector (what the Aero was called at the time) about a year ago.

As far as the ride goes, I feel that the Arc is plenty stiff. At test drive time, I didn't have too much of a preference, although the Vector was certainly stiffer. However, after having lived with the car for a year, I am glad that I don't have the Vector suspension. I think the ride I have is perfect and allows great handling and minimal body roll, but still a generally comfortable ride. My wife actually thinks the ride is too harsh, but it is what I expected from a Sports Sedan.

As for the interior styling, I too preferred the Vector styling - I really can't stand wood trim. I asked the dealer to order the 4 door trim pieces and the shifter plate in the "metal" trim for the Vector and replace all of the wood inside. Now the only difference between my Arc and a Vector is the 2-tone sport seat, which I would have liked, but can live without. You might consider doing the same if it is the trim you are concerned about. I did keep the wood peices so that in the future if I sell teh car, the new owner can choose which they prefer.

Hope that helps out in making your decision.

My 2 cents,
NR_Arc.
