Don't go in numerical order. ACEA A1/B is similar to A2/B2, the difference being essentially the viscosity range ... specifically HTHS viscosity.
A3/B3 has the same visosity range as A2/B2, but has better long-life properties (stay in grade through the test, less allowable deposits, stuff like that).
A5/B5 is to A1/B1 as A3/B3 is to A2/B2. AFIK there is no A4/B4.
BTW, "A" is for spark (gasoline) engines, "B" is for light duty diesel.
As I said, ACEA is releasing a whole new set of standards, based on reduced phosphorous in spark ignition (gasoline) engine lubricant and sturdier stuff needed for the newest generation of light duty diesels (which are approaching the specific power output of gasoline engines and with tons of low rpm torque).
