I just looked at 2006 9-5.
Surprisingly, they deleted SID all along. and move SID display in side of cluster (right under speedo) similiar to 9-3SS's.

Somehow,. I hated old type of SID. however, I hate more of new design right now.. almost impossible to read at first sight & freaking expensive to fix.. (like BMW'S VOD display on cluster..)

Night panel switch is located at where used to be fog light switch was located..

and their buick-like audio system have similar DVD navigation system as Hummer H2.

probably 2005 9-5 with dvd navi will be rare item or will be offered as discounted dealer install option for earlier 9-5s..

Upgrading audio system for 9-5 will be some what difficult. however, no more monkey business of marrying/divorce..
