As I remember the adjustment is fairly easy. It is the same as any drum brake adjustment. Jack up the rear wheels and remove them. (Suppor the car in a safe manner.) Remove the little oval plug on the brake plate and look in there with a flashlight. You will see a little star shaped thing that is supposed to be moved with a flat screwdriver. Move it 2-3 clicks and try and move the brake drum. Repeat until you get some drag then back off 1-2 clicks. Be sure you are moving the star wheel the right way.
Set the brake and release it. Try and rotate the drums. They should move without the shoes draging.
If you are unsure, have a mechanic do it.
Drive Safe,
Joe
